In today's era the concept of Teacher's Day has been highly restricted to celebrations and compulsions of recognizing it without actually having the the ethos and the sense of value with which it was originally intended to be passed on to generations down the line. The celebrations as was seen by me for the last 10 years have aroused a deep feeling of regret for the values are not being infused into the children, as it should have been done. All the children know why we celebrate Teacher's Day but the spirit with which it is to be celebrated is missing!!
